Torrential rain, gales, snow, frost and ice, total lack of sunshine for days on end; we have had the lot already this year. Notwithstanding that this has, unfortunately kept a few of us away from our Thursday art sessions, it has been an inspiration for some atmospheric landscapes.

This is a winter scene from the rear of the house we lived in for 35 years at the very south west of Ellon. I have painted several scenes around there.
